Food was very good, for bar food. I loved the Irish atmosphere. Glad to know Pittsburgh has a good Irish pub. BTW, our server, Teena, was very good. I had the Shepard's Pie. Loved the fact that not everything was deep fried.

Although it’s Irish food, it was still pretty bland, for example, the malt and salt fries still need more salt and more malt vinegar But we had great service. Great place to watch college football or stop in for a bite to eat while you’re shopping in the strip district

This was my first time here. I travel a fair bit on business, and have a long history of rating pubs and restaurants. I found the place charming, welcoming, and authentic. The service was prompt a d friendly, and my server, Ashley, did an outstanding job. [She should get special mention, here, for being a rare mix of professional conduct and making a guest feel at ease.] The food was exactly what I hoped for, and I appreciated that they had Smithwick's on draft. The music was tasteful and not cranked up. They seem to hold to the older (and correct) idea that the music is meant for the customer, not for the entertainment of the employees. I heard a little colourful language from the bartender, which I would recommend dialing back a bit for the sake of mixed company. But the gent's room was as clean as a whistle (like the old Irish Spring commercials). I ardently disagree with the dismal review left by LawSchoolDropout (that name says something), and I urge people to read mine many other reviews, noting that I do not always give five star ratings. My choice to leave one this time for Mullaney's Harp & Fiddle will, I hope, communicate a very positive experience, and thus vastly outweigh the influence of one surly reviewer. To the staff and owners there...Sláinte! And Merry Christmas. Nicely done...

Had a Guinness and the bangers and mash. Great local Irish pub that even had live music Friday night for free.

We always look for the Irish pub wherever we go. This place doesn't disappoint! Friendly atmosphere and good craic! Service was great and we were greeted like old friends, just what you expect from an Irish pub. Food was also really good. Decided on a steak salad and it's the first time I've had fries in my salad. Surprised at how good it was. I would definitely order it again. Hubby enjoyed a local beer and a Powers. If I lived in the area this would become a "go to" place.

Sat at the bar and enjoyed the service and music. We had a black and tan poured with the southern tier coffee ale that was next level good. Bartender was fantastic and helped the increasingly intoxicated young man next to us not make more bad decisions… at least in that bar. Can’t wait to go back and try the food.

Was looking for a place to grab a quick drink and bite to eat in the Strip District that was dog friendly and I sure found a gem. Delicious pub food with an obligatory Guinness. My bartender/server was super friendly and checked on me often when I was alone out back. I only briefly saw the inside and it looked like a great local pub.

The first time here. Very friendly service with great selection of different beers and a cocktail menu. The appetizers we had were pretzels and Ruben bites. What is unique about this place is they have different beer menus with a Guinness beer. Several different combinations with Guinness and other beers. The fish and chips are outstanding and reminding me of being in Ireland. Definitely highly recommend coming here. Just like Arnold said "we'll be back".
